At Irie Mobility Jamaica, our goal is to enhance your mobility aid experience by offering top-notch customer support and the perfect equipment for your requirements. We prioritize the privacy of our clients and ensure that any information shared is strictly necessary for our partners to deliver a seamless service. Rest assured, we pledge not to knowingly distribute your personal information for any gain, whether financial or otherwise.
LIABILITY & INDEMNITY
The client agrees to personally accept all responsibility and releases Irie Mobility Jamaica entirely from liability for any injuries, disabilities, and/or fatalities of workers and/or any other individuals resulting from the operation and handling of the rental equipment during the rental period.
CARE & OPERATION OF THE EQUIPMENT
The equipment must be used and operated with care and in accordance with all laws, ordinances, and regulations governing its possession, use, or maintenance. It is highly recommended that the equipment be used within the designated boundaries of the hotel chosen by the client to prevent potential damage from areas not suitable for mobility aid devices.
If you choose to use the equipment off the property, please be vigilant of your surroundings to identify and avoid steep inclines or declines, poorly maintained lawns or grass, and large puddles of water. In case of any issues with the equipment, we strongly advise you to contact us immediately.
Failure to report an issue to Irie Mobility Jamaica during the rental period via the provided means of communication renders the claim void after the rental period has concluded. The client accepts sole responsibility for any damages beyond normal wear and tear to the rental equipment.
The client's possession of the equipment begins upon signing and submitting the DROP OFF form and ends upon signing and submitting the PICK UP form. The client also agrees to assume personal responsibility for any vandalism or loss of equipment.
In the event of complete loss of the equipment, the client agrees to reimburse Irie Mobility Jamaica an amount sufficient to replace the equipment.
ANY DAMAGES THAT OCCUR TO THE EQUIPMENT DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT TO REMEDY. THE CLIENT'S EQUIPMENT RENTAL DAMAGE DEPOSIT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY APPLIED TO THE REPAIR COST (PARTS ONLY AND IN EXTREME CASES LABOR AS WELL) AND THE REMAINDER WILL BE REFUNDED TO THE CLIENT.
REWARDS
Every rental earns 15 points per day, these reward points are transferable and do not expire. Points can ONLY be used on a future reservation where one hundred (100) points can be redeemed for one (1) free day of rental. If your points balance is below one hundred (100), you can redeem your available points for a percentage discount on one of your day of rental.
CANCELLATION
All rentals come with the flexibility to cancel in case your plans change. The cancellation fee is $50.00 if you cancel before your reservation start date. If you need to cancel after your reservation starts, the delivery and days pass since the reservation start become nonrefundable. The remaining days of your reservation will be refunded to your original payment method. If that method is no longer available, a Visa prepaid card will be issued with your balance.
REFUNDS
Refunds are determined based on the date we receive your cancellation request. The applicable cancellation fee is deducted from the total reservation amount and the remaining funds are then refunded to the original payment method.
Equipment Rental Damage Deposits will be refunded to the clients original payment method once the equipment is returned and assessed by our delivery/maintenance team.
RENTAL DATE CHANGE
Reservation dates can be modified for FREE. Irie Mobility Jamaica can not guarantee accommodation for your new date/s. A lack of accommodation that leads to cancellation will incur a fee of $50 USD. Please note a modification is considered as changing both your arrival and departure dates. If you wish to change your arrival or departure date beyond your original reservation, that is an extension not a rental date change.
DELIVERY & PICKUP
The client agrees to be present or appoint representation at the time of delivery and pickup. The client acknowledges delivery and pickup as their opportunity to inspect and notate the company's provided forms in regard to the condition of the equipment to avoid damage responsibility disputes. The client or client authorized recipient will need to provide proper identification at delivery to ensure the equipment is being delivered to the correct individual.
DAMAGES & DEPOSITS
The company requires a damage deposit that will be held in part to cover for damages that occur to the equipment excluding normal wear and tear. Different equipment will be subject to a different amount which will range from $25.00 - $50.00 The client is responsible for all damages that occur to the equipment during the rental period. IF THE EQUIPMENT SUFFERS ANY DAMAGES IN THE CLIENT'S POSSESSION, IMMEDIATELY CONTACT THE COMPANY. The company will assist you with determining the best course of action to prevent further damage and prevent any potential harm. Once the damage is assessed, the company will share its assessment with the client about the next steps and cost regarding the repair of the equipment.
A BREIF RECAP
The equipment offered for rental are durable and dependable but like all things, inappropriate use can cause damages. The company strongly recommends the client uses the equipment as intended and under no circumstances should the equipment be used inappropriately. Failure to do so can lead to damage/s to the equipment and harm to the client.
Here are somethings to keep in mind:
1. Do not use the equipment in the rain or leave unattended in the rain.
2. Avoid pools, fountains, puddles and any other body of liquid.
3. Do not use the equipment on sand (on the beach) or poorly maintained grass.
4. Do not exceed user weight indicated above.
5. Only one individual (the client) should utilize the equipment at any given time.
6. While the company highly recommends you do not take the equipment off property, you can. Be mindful of your surroundings to avoid situations that can cause damages to the equipment and potential harm to yourself. Regardless of where the damage occurs you will still be responsible to remedy the repair.
Following these simple but effective directives can save the client and the company time and resources that can be utilized in other aspects of the client's life and the company.
